Connor Church, AHS Needle Editor
Connor (Churchy) Church, is a senior at Atlantic Highschool. He said he got into journalism from “people telling (him) to get into it to write the sports news.” Church has 30 or more stories on his sleeve and said, “(He) usually writes about sports stories or sports profiles." His favorite story he has written was one from this season's game against Kuemper. After graduation, he plans on going to college at Iowa Western Community College and then transfer to a university to major in physical education. Church said that “(He) likes being around young people and making kids smile.” He also said that his inspiration is “Coach Mcdermott, he just has an act about him, and Aaron Rodgers you who i'm a big Packer fan so, also my doctors I had that helped me with my cerebral palsy, I just try to be an inspiration to others.” Church and his classmates would say he has some funny quotes such as “Kim Jong Un’s wife is hot.”
