The Trojans fell to the Kuemper Catholic Knights last night. The Trojans were looking to build off of their win against the Shenandoah Mustangs. With the Knights coming to town, the Trojans knew that they would have to get stops on defense. The Trojans were again without Chase Mullenix with an undisclosed injury.

With Mullenix out with injury, the Trojans started Jalen Petersen, Nathan Behrends, Tyler Moen, Logan Reilly, and Skyler Handlos. The first quarter began, and the Trojans wanted to get off to a good start with Mullenix out. However, the Trojans were outscored by the Knights 14-17 in the first quarter.

The second quarter began, and the Trojans were down by three. In the second quarter, the Knights went on a little bit of a run. The Knights scored 18 points in the quarter, while the Trojans scored seven in the quarter. Heading into the locker room at halftime, the Trojans were down 21-35. The Trojans knew that they would have to get on a run of their own.

The Trojans came out of the locker room, and the third quarter began. To end the half, the Knights had gone on a little run of their own, but the Trojans flipped the script in the second quarter, as they outscored the Knights 16-9. However, the Trojans were still down 37-44 to begin the fourth quarter. The Trojans knew that they would have to outscore the Knights again in the fourth.

The fourth quarter began, and the Trojans needed to outscore the Knights in order to have a chance to come out with a win. However, the Trojans were outscored in the fourth 11-16. In the end, the Trojans fell to the Knights 48-60.

The Trojans were lead in scoring by Skyler Handlos, who scored 22 points. Logan Reilly also scored 13, while Tyler Moen put up six points for the Trojans.

The Trojans look to rebound after their loss to the Knights as the take on the Gilbert Tigers (6-1) on Friday in Gilbert. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
