Homecoming 2019 Football Game Preview

The Trojans are preparing for their Homecoming game against the Greene County Rams.

The football team prepares to take on OA-BCIG in week six action. Last, week the Trojans came up short, 28-7.

The Trojans will take the field against the Greene County Rams on Friday for Homecoming. The Rams come into the game with a 6-0 record, while the Trojans come in with a 2-4 record. The Trojans will look to knock off the Rams to move to 2-1 in district play. If the Trojans win this game, their playoff chances increase tremendously.

The Ram’s quarterback is Brent Riley. So far this season, he has thrown for 1,337 yards, 19 touchdowns, and three interceptions. Riley has a completion percentage of 62.5 percent. He has a quarterback rating of 194.5. The Trojan’s quarterback is Garrett McLaren. So far this season, he has thrown for 546 yards, four touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. He has a completion percentage of 50 percent. He also has a quarterback rating of 114.6. It will be critical for the Trojans to stop the Rams’ quarterback.

The Ram’s leading rusher is Colby Kafer. He has 115 attempts, 966 yards, and 10 touchdowns. The Rams’ leading receiver is Carter Morton. He has 25 receptions, 610 yards, and eight touchdowns. The Rams’ leading tackler is Will Hansen. He leads the team in tackles, with 33.5. He has 2.5 sacks as well.

Tyler Moen is the Trojans’ leading rusher. He has 130 attempts, with 991 yards, and 10 touchdowns. The Trojans’ leading receiver is Collin Mullenix. He has nine receptions for 224 yards, and three touchdowns. The Trojans’ leading tackler is Bodie Johnson. He leads the team with 29 tackles. He also has three tackles for loss.
