Noah Bruckner , Lead AHS Needle editor
Senior Noah Bruckner is the sports editor for AHS Needle in the journalism department this year. This means he has to “make sure all stories regarding sports are up and on the site.” Bruckner’s favorite piece he has written in his career is a basketball preview of Harlan a couple years ago. He said it’s his favorite because Allison Berryhill, the journalism department advisor, told him he did a great job and many people liked reading it. Bruckner’s favorite part of being involved in the journalism department is the “whole friendly atmosphere.”
A relaxing afternoon for Bruckner includes either “doing nothing, watching Netflix or just hanging out.” He said that his girlfriend, junior Hannah Alff, knows him best. “I would say my mom, but that’s kind of cheating because of course she knows me best, she’s my mom.” Someone that Bruckner looks up to is his grandma because “she was always happy and positive about things.”
Bruckner said he would never change how funny he is and he thinks his friends would describe him as “sometimes annoying and outgoing.” He would describe himself as fun and friendly. “I can be really friendly if I want to be,” Bruckner said. He said he is an “open person” and doesn’t hide anything about himself. Bruckner is involved in football and baseball at AHS and roots for the Nebraska Cornhuskers on college gameday.
If Bruckner could acquire a talent without effort he would sing because “you can become rich off of singing.” He would eat pasta if he could only eat one food for a year because “there are many different variations of pasta.” The last thing Bruckner remembers cooking was a “Jack’s frozen pizza for lunch.”
