Trojans take on the Huskies

The Trojans will fight to return to a  .500 season tomorrow, Sept, 16, when they travel to Winterset to take on the Huskies. The Trojans are 1-2 with their win coming in the first game of the season against the Clarinda Cardinals. The Huskies have dropped their first three games but are looking for a win tomorrow night.

The Huskies coming into the game have a total of 646 yards. Winterset running back Brad Beshoof has a total of 399 yards and quarterback Noah Larson has a total of 189 passing yards.

The Trojans, on the other hand, are coming into the game with 577  total offensive yards. Quarterback Jaxson Eden has 131 passing yards in the one game he has started for the Trojans. Running back Drake Roller has 76 rushing yards and running back Noah Bruckner has 175 rushing yards. The Trojans have suffered to close losses the past two games.

Chase Mullenix said “we are going to have to play our best and be able to stop there two best players, their quarterback and their running back. We are going to have to be able to run the ball and make good passes.”

The game will start at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Winterset High School. Both teams are looking to come away with a win.
