Claire Pellett

Claire Pellett, AHS Needle Lead Editor

Claire Pellett is a senior at AHS this year. Pellett’s role in journalism is an AHSneedle.com lead editor. One of her favorite memories from last year was “helping out the broadcasting kids.” She also enjoys First Fridays, the monthly celebration with all of the journalism teams. While in journalism, Pellett has won Best of SNO for her Ryan Hawkings story and is also involved in Quill and Scroll, the journalism honor society. Pellett said, “My favorite part about journalism is the independence that you earn over the years and the growth that comes with the experience.”  Pellett is “excited to see the changes that we can make to the website this year and hopefully cover all the activities here at AHS.” Other school activities she is involved in include sports, AHS fuel, NHS, senior class officer, and FFA. Outside school, she is involved in the 4-H Youth Council, IGHSAU SAAC, and dance. In her free time, Pellett likes to spend time with her friends, family, and dogs. She also enjoys baking, reading, and being outside. Pellett is looking forward to participating in all of the senior activities this year.
