Claire Wiederstein

Claire Wiederstein, Broadcasting Editor

Claire Wiederstien is a senior and has been in journalism for three years. She took part in the yearbook during her second year, and this year she’s taking on broadcasting. In journalism, she likes how involved you get in the school, including sports games, and how easily you can talk to the people around you. “I really love how creative and out in the open you can be in journalism,” said Wiederstein. Her favorite parts of journalism are going on trips, meeting new people, and taking pictures around the school and at school events. When she is not working hard in the J’Lab you can find her on walks with her dog Navey, shopping, or reading her favorite book Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. Wiederstiens plan after high school is to attend DMACC and become a Nurse. She fell in love with this profession working at Atlantic Specialty Care this past year. “I really like how positive the work environment is,” Wiederstien said. One of her favorite memories from journalism was filming Unmatched and she hopes to take part in more videos like it this year.
