The Atlantic FFA organization hosted their annual Winter Formal Saturday, Jan. 24. It is a dance that is open to all of AHS and the students are allowed to bring out of town dates if they so please. The Winter Formal court candidates were juniors Lily Willrich, Peyton McLaren, Jacquie Freund, Addalyn Sonntag, Maggie Cohrs, Kayedance Sturm, and Aly Dreager. The selected winner was Addalyn Sonntag. Sonntag said, “I was surprised but definitely happy that I won.” Freshman attendee John McCurdy said, “The dance was fun but didn’t have a lot of energy.” Sophomore Jayna McEntaffer said, “I wish everyone was dancing instead of standing around.”
