The Atlantic journalism department held their annual banquet to wrap up the end of the 2025-2026 school year. The banquet was presented by adivsers Allison Berryhill and Katie Hedegaard. Berryhill was head of the story-side of journalism, while Hedegaard was head of the yearbook side. During their presentation, they mentioned what class everyone was currently taking and what they are going to be doing next year to help further the success of the Atlantic Journalism department. Many awards were given to members of the activity such as participation certificates, letters, and Trojan Head awards. The senior Quill & Scroll members also received blue and gold honor cords to wear at their graduation.

Dylin Ball, JP Student
A sophomore at AHS, Dylin Ball has been a very active first-year journalist. In her first year, Ball has shown an interest and talent for writing for the AHS Needle website. Notably, she has also written several news briefs for the Eye of the Needle broadcasting team. Ball is hardworking, and her projects prove that. Along with journalism, Ball is involved in many other activities at AHS and chooses to have a very active high school career. She loves meeting new people, and journalism helps give her that opportunity and opens up doors she didn’t have access to before. Ball plans to be involved in journalism through high school and can’t wait to experience all that journalism offers.
