On May 22, the high school is hosting an Activity Fair for incoming freshmen. All 8th-grade students who will be freshmen next year will report to the Commons from 9:10 AM to 9:30 AM. The purpose of the Activity Fair is to help the incoming freshmen to learn more about the opportunities available at the high school before the next school year begins.
During the fair, different clubs, sports, and classes will have tables set up around the Commons. Students will be able to walk around, ask questions, and collect information about activities they may want to join. Some tables will feature extracurricular activities such as student council, FFA, athletics, and yearbook, while others will highlight classes like foods, art, and other electives.
The Activity Fair gives incoming freshmen a chance to become more familiar with the high school and discover activities that match their interests before starting high school next year.
