FFA students at AHS have been selling a variety of flower baskets, along with tomatoes and peppers, chosen and grown by the horticulture class. In case you missed the first week, you still have this week to buy plants, possibly for Mother’s Day. They will be selling in the greenhouse on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m., and then they will also be at the Cass County Extension Office on Saturday from 8 to 10 in the morning on Saturday. Atlantic FFA advisor Eric Miller said that any money made from the sales goes to the Atlantic FFA Chapter. They also donate some of the produce to the Cass County Food Pantry as a way to “give back to the community.”
