Emma Templeton

Emma Templeton, Yearbook Editor in Chief

Senior, Emma Templeton is the lead editor of the yearbook. Her job is to make sure that all of the editors are on the same page, she creates templates and spreadsheets, and she is the final step of review before the editors turn in the yearbook pages. Templeton joined journalism because she “enjoys taking pictures and loves reporting news that is going on around the school.” Her favorite memory from journalism was attending the conference located in Iowa City and coming home with the All Iowa News Team of the Year banner. Throughout high school, she's has been involved in volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, Student Council along with AHS Fuel. Templeton has one older brother, Logan who was also involved in journalism. After high school, she plans to attend a college to study diagnostic imaging or physical therapy. In her free time she likes to hang out with her family and her best friends, Addi Schmitt and Maddy Fell. Templeton also said she, "just likes being a goofball.” If she had a million dollars, she said she would spend it on a pet polar bear.
