Parent-Teacher Conferences are happening the week of Feb. 16-19. Wednesday and Thursday are both 2-hour early outs, with the high school then dismissing classes at 1:13 PM. PT conferences start at 2 PM and end at 6 PM. On Friday, there won’t be any classes for the Atlantic Community School District. The email for staff was sent out Jan. 27, informing them of the information on conferences. Then, on Feb. 4, after school dismissal, the email to inform parents of PT conferences was sent out. Though if a teacher is gone when parents arrive for conferences, then here’s the reason: teachers sometimes block out times on JMC. This is because they’re gone and unable to have a conference with a student’s parents if they block out time on their schedule.
