The AHSneedle.com news site now has a phone app available. News of the app was posted on the Journalism’s Google Classroom page with instructions for how to download and use it. Journalism adviser Allison Berryhill said that they “just got it online last night (Jan. 7th).” Berryhill said the news site purchased the app to allow students to “access stories written by their fellow students easily.” Journalism funds will pay $150 annually to keep AHSNeedle on Student News Sources. How you go about getting this app is by downloading ‘Student News Sources’ and putting in the Atlantic zip code (50022). This will pull up AHSNeedle. Then you can turn on notifications for when stories are posted.
