The water fountain in the 300-hallway is clogged. According to custodian Richard Smith, people are “abusing the system” by pouring things like glitter, coffee grounds, hair, and other things to back it up. Smith said next week the fountain will be torn apart and unplugged. Then other people will come in and push everything out. When people put things down the fountain that weren’t supposed to be it, plugs it up and then the water has nowhere to go. Therefore, everything that’s gone down the toilets and water fountains will come back up because that’s the only place it can go.
