On the first day of the second semester, sophomore Craven Wiersma found himself lost in high school because of problems with his schedule. Wiersma said he had a schedule that had two eight-period classes and two sixth-period classes. Such confusion can lead students to be tardy. A new tardy policy allows students only four tardies before having a detention. When a student is tardy 10 times, his/her phone will be taken away. Wiersma’s schedule confusion resulted in his first tardy of the semester.
