Lucas Behrens, Broadcasting Videographer
Lucas Behrends is an editor and videographer for the broadcasting class. His main role in journalism is to take pictures and short videos for Eye of the Needle. While in high school he has been involved in band, fall play, spring musical, track and field, MVP mentoring, journalism, Student Council and has held the parliamentarian office. His favorite part of journalism so far has been going to Iowa City last year and messing around in the hotel room. After high school, he plans on attending Southwest Iowa Community College for welding technologies. Journalism struck his interest because he remembered “how fun it was doing the 8th-grade yearbook.” Once he entered journalism in his sophomore year he became more interested in broadcasting.
