Chloe Davis, Broadcasting Anchor
Chloe Davis, a senior at AHS is a part of the broadcasting team. Davis’ role in broadcasting is being the news anchor for the “black team.” Davis said her favorite part of journalism is “walking in and seeing food in the cubbies.” She also enjoys creating memories with her friends behind the camera. The choice to be in journalism was influenced by Davis’ interest in getting involved in an activity where she can be creative. Throughout high school along with journalism, Davis has been involved in Student Council, AHS Fuel, tennis, soccer, volleyball, dance, mentoring, NHS and managing boys basketball. Outside of school activities, she loves to build puzzles with her mom, talk and hangout with her friends and keep on keeping up with the Kardashians. Davis’ favorite memory from journalism was when she attended the Journalism Conference in Iowa City. “I loved spending time with the closest of my peers.” Davis also said that the group won an award for the ad that she and McKenzie Waters created. Davis has enjoyed being in Journalism throughout high school and encourages others to get involved in it to create “lifelong memories.” Journalism “brightens up” Davis’ day and is something she always looks forward to.
