On Dec. 1, business teacher Natalie Ross is taking her class to the Career Expo in the Mid America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
This takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The grade levels that are allowed to go are sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The careers that will be displayed include business, agriculture, entrepreneur, and culinary arts.
Ross is taking five students who are interested in these career areas. Stephanie Pross, Katie Groves, and Minden Jones and Kaitlynn Walters will all be attending. The Expo helps students get ready for their career by showing students information of the fields that they want to be in. It also helps them get an interview with a business they might be interested in. If the student really seems interested with one company, then they could set up an internship program with the business.
Ross says this is a good place to get experience and explore the career you are interested in.
