Isaiha Imhoff, Staff Writer
Sophomore Isaiha Imhoff is an opinionated staff writer for the AHS needle. He decided to get involved in journalism because of his passion for expressing his feelings and views about the world. Imhoff said that writing opinion pieces is his favorite part of journalism and that he is most proud of the opinion article that he wrote about loving your family just because they are your family, earlier last semester. Imhoff said that he wants to improve his understanding of journalistic writing over the next few years by “getting better at storytelling” and “reading more books to improve my grammar.” He hopes to share more of his opinions throughout the semester. Imhoff said that he loves participating in group activities while the elective class. He said he relies on his peers in the journalism production classroom to help him gain a better understanding of what he is writing. He additionally said that his peers make him “not feel so alone.” Imhoff said he wants to return that favor of giving his classmates support by making sure that they don’t break down in class. Other activities and hobbies that Imhoff participates in are reading and playing games.
