Reagan Leonard, Yearbook Editor

Junior Reagan Leonard is a part of the yearbook staff. Her role in journalism is to take pictures, write captions, and put it all together to create pages for the yearbook. “My favorite part of being a journalist is taking pictures at sporting events and capturing exciting moments through the athlete's career,” Leonard said.  Her favorite sport to take pictures of is basketball because “it is such an intense sport and you get to capture the highlights of the athlete’s performance.”

Throughout high school, she has been involved in volleyball, golf, basketball managing and AHS Fuel. Her favorite activity that she participates in would be volleyball. Leonard enjoys the bus rides to games because she gets to talk to her friends and prepare for the game.  “It is exciting, up beat, and I get to have fun with my friends,” Leonard said. She also said her favorite class is journalism because it allows her to be creative and is a positive working environment. Leonard said Berryhill has helped her grow as a journalist because she pushes her creative abilities.  She also enjoys working with classmates on yearbook spreads, which allows for more ideas.

In Leonard’s free time you can catch her hanging out with friends and family or playing with her dog.  Leonard’s favorite ice cream is an oreo blizzard.
