Josie Colton, Staff Writer

Josie Colton, a sophomore at Atlantic High School, is a staff editor for AHSneedle.com and the journalism team. Colton can be described as a very creative, laid-back, and social student. She is also a valued member of Atlantic’s Archery team and is involved with a stint dabbling in the food’s classroom. When she’s not at school she enjoys hobbies like drawing, hanging out with friends, and running. But Colton also has a knack for writing that would bring her into the journalism classroom.

Colton’s journalism career began when she found a passion for the idea of writing short stories as well as news stories. To her, writing is a way to reach out and socialize with her peers and the community. Colton’s inspiration in journalism originated from her sister, who was also a member of the course. She is excited to explore the different areas of journalism, and she is especially excited to leave her mark and paint her own tile on the ceiling of the Journalism classroom.
