Junior Josie Colton tells writes stories for the newspaper at Atlantic High School. The news story she is most proud of is about the new teachers here at Atlantic High School for the 2021-2022 school year. “I really enjoy reading in journalism and outside of journalism. I am in Archery and I plan on doing track this year if it all works out!” Colton said.  When she isn’t working on news stories or participating in her extracurricular activities, she enjoys having a nice, relaxing evening that consists of laying in bed and watching t.v.

Colton said, “One thing she would never give away is her phone. That’s the only way I have to communion with my friends from Georiga,”  They visited each other for the first time this summer and have been in touch ever since. “He’s even my home screen on my phone,” Colton explained. They both love the Kansas City Chiefs, which they bonded over.

Colton loves chili crispitos and if she had to, that would be the only thing she’d eat for an entire year. The last thing Colton remembers cooking is Chinese chicken that she made in foods class with her friends. “I have been on a ravioli kick for a little while now. I’m obsessed,”

Colton said, “One thing I would never change about myself is my personality.” Colton described her self as outgoing and funny. Colton looks up to her mom the most. “She knows me the best.”
