J. Molina explains how it feels to grow up biracial.

J. Molina, Staff Writer

J. Molina is a 15-year-old AHS sophomore and first-year journalist. Molina enjoys drawing, writing, music, musical theater, and acting. They participate in speech and debate, drama, and band. They went to All-State last year for an ‘after dinner speaking’ speech. Their speech was about a play on the show Inside Job. They joined journalism because they have "always had an interest in writing stories, I have always been told I am a strong writer." They also said, "The school newspaper is important because it gives students creative freedom and a voice."  Molina may be described by others as intimidating, studious, and welcoming. They like to see both sides of an argument and try to be fair. Molina is actively trying to learn how to say "bless you'' in different languages. I am currently at four." Molina also has mismatched thumbs; they are two different shapes.
