Test days are typically one of the most dreaded amongst high school students. They are unavoidable and ever-approaching. Most assessments serve as a necessary evaluation of knowledge acquisition, but pushing too many at once can weigh heavily on the mind. Recall is often hindered when you’re expected to juggle several conflicting subjects consistently and effectively. And the recent tests are no exception to this phenomenon. Unfortunately, teachers are likely unable to balance test days among other classes, as they are not in charge of another educator’s schedule, nor the school district’s collective testing. As a result, exams become condensed together, and the effect of this becomes immediately apparent. Exhausted, irritable students. A sacrifice of one subject to bring about the success of another.
