Last Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Volleyball girls played in a triangular against Glenwood and Clarinda. The Trojans won against Clarinda 3-2 but lost to Glenwood 0-3. Sophomore Aubrey Guyer said she “played better” than she had in previous games this year. The girls also played the Harlan Cyclones on Thursday, Sept. 17.

This is Guyer’s second year playing varsity, and her goals are “to grow as a hitter and a teammate,” and improve her defense. The girls have a total of seven more games and triangulars, and 2-3 tournaments. “Our games are never promised,” Guyer said.

Be sure to come out to support the JV and Freshman teams play in a triangular at home on Tuesday, starting at 4:30. The next varsity game is against St. Albert on Sept. 24, which is also senior night.
