Ellie Butler, Staff Writer
Sophomore Ellie Butler is taking her second semester of journalism. Butler joined journalism because "It was a new class that we have not had before. So it would be nice to try it." Butler's favorite part of journalism was when she got to take pictures of girls varsity basketball. Her favorite story she wrote was with one of her friends about the Roman Empire. Butler said they got a lot of good feedback from peers. "Also it was a very popular trend at the time. Going all around TikTok." Butler also likes to interview people and she is looking forward to "trying new things and being independent." Butler recommends this class since “the class is really fun and is easy.”
While in high school Butler is also involved in tennis and football cheer. Outside of school Butler is either driving around with friends or playing with her dog.
