Trojan Football Starts Season on the Right Foot

Trojans crush Clarinda 40-0.

The Trojan football team opened the season with a huge win against the Cardinals from Clarinda Friday night.

Last Friday, Aug. 25th, the Atlantic football team traveled to Clarinda to take on the Cardinals in their 2017 season opener. The team won the game with a final score of 40-0.

Coach Mike McDermott said, “I thought we were focused and crisp, it showed early and in the end, big compliments to our senior group for keeping everyone focused in the locker room and on the field.” 

The Trojans will take on the Shenandoah Mustangs this Friday, Sept. 1, at the Trojan Bowl.
