Jada Jensen

Jada Jensen, Broadcasting

Jada Jensen, 16, is a junior and is a broadcaster for journalism.  Her role as a broadcaster is to share content that is both entertaining and informative.  Her proudest moment while being a part of journalism was in her sophomore year.  Jensen had been one of the team members that won a “Best of SNO award” on Jensen’s group video was titled “How Teachers Met Their Spouses.”  Jensen said, it had been a “Valentine’s Day Special” and was posted on Eye of the Needles Youtube.  Jensen takes the role of sports broadcaster on occasion and said, “It’s all about what the students want to do.”  The broadcasting team has the freedom to include “about any solid story idea” that they come up with.  Jensen said, “It’s really about students making fun content for their school and community.”

Jensen used the two words “funny” and “responsible” to describe herself.  These characteristics show through to her many teammates and friends.  Jensen participates in soccer, basketball, volleyball, softball, and AHS fuel.  “She sets goals for herself and is able to achieve them through hard work.” these are characteristics Jensen hopes to gain from her older sister which Jensen looks up to the most.
