Ava Rush, Yearbook Editor
Between homework, sports, and other extracurriculars, time management can be hard to control. Junior Ava Rush is used to this lack of free time, as she is deeply involved in five activities. Journalism, cross country, volleyball, track, and softball are the activities that take up Rush’s ever-decreasing amount of time. While it may seem like a burden for a person to do so much on top of school, she doesn’t mind. In fact, she enjoys what she does.
In journalism, Rush is a yearbook editor. “Designing and making the pages pretty” is her favorite part of working on the Javelin. Rush has been in journalism since sophomore year and intends to continue into her senior year.
Rush’s athleticism is nothing to scoff at either. She takes pride in playing varsity in all four of her sports and gives credit to her older sisters. “I look up to my sisters because they set a really good example for me and help me get through stuff. They taught me a lot of things.”
