Alex Harper, Broadcasting Videographer
Atlantic High School senior Alex Harper is an editor for the Eye of the Needle. He works on creating videos with junior Kolby Parrott for the “Trojan Buzz” section. “Trojan Buzz” is a comedic portion of the weekly Eye of the Needle videos which are posted every Friday. Harper said he began working on the videos last year with former AHS students Noah Rutherford and Brandon Woodard. “I’m now taking on more of a leadership role,” Harper said. A favorite video that he’s made is from last year when he and Rutherford made a wrestling video with Cale Roller and Aybren Moore. “We only really had one shot at it,” Harper said, “We had them throw us around for a while and it was funny.” One thing he’s learned from journalism is that it may take multiple tries to get things right.
