Olivia Jensen is a writer and junior editor for AHSneedle.com. Jensen said her favorite thing about journalism is “the friends that I have made and the relationships I’ve grown.” She also said she enjoys that in class there are different departments and she gets to see what others are working on. Jensen’s favorite work of her own is her opinion story “Support For All,” posted in September.
Other activities that Jensen is involved in include volleyball, tennis, and dance. Outside of school, she enjoys listening to music, especially Taylor Swift. But journalism is a class she “looks forward to every day.” In the future, Jensen said she doesn’t know what she wants to do but wants to take her journalism skills of talking to people and writing stories into her future. Jensen said journalism is “my favorite class period and I look forward to it every day and everybody should join because it is fun.”
