Kylie Templeton: journalist, friend, and daughter. Templeton joined journalism in her sophomore year and has stayed in it through her senior year.  She’s attended the Media Now journalism camp at Drake University for the past two summers where she gathered the skills to lead AHS Journalism’s social media accounts with fellow journalist Isabelle Symonds. Templeton’s favorite thing about high school is Homecoming week because the grade as a whole comes together and gets connected by doing fun activities such as building floats and the dodgeball tournament. Outside of school, Templeton likes to participate in dance, hang out with friends, and go shopping.  Templeton also likes to read books; her favorite author is Colleen Hoover. Templeton wants to get an education in Phlebotomy (blood works) or another aspect of healthcare. If that doesn’t suit her fancy, Templeton wants to go back to the same dance studio that has taught her to dance and become a dance instructor herself.
