The Atlantic High School boys’ tennis meeting was held on Tuesday, March 10, after school. At the boys’ tennis meeting, the coach, Mike McDermott, says they will discuss practice and game-day protocols, what to wear to tennis, the goals for the season, and expectations. McDermott will also make sure everyone has the necessary forms turned in. He hopes to work on fundamentals that will get the tennis players better every day and strive to compete for a conference championship. This season will be inexperienced to start because there is very little varsity experience. McDermott tries to create good tennis players who are also good people. He will try to guide individual people to reach their goals on and off the court. Boys Tennis started on Monday, March 16, from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the AHS Tennis Courts.
