Maylynn Ferrell, Yearbook Lead Editor
Maylynn Ferrell is a senior and the lead editor for the AHS yearbook. Ferrell has been involved in journalism since her sophomore year. As lead editor, Ferrell is responsible for all the designing done in the yearbook as well as overseeing pages done by other yearbook staff. Ferrell said her favorite memory of journalism was attending a journalism camp in Iowa City. She said, ¨Being with peers who are also interested in the same stuff as you, a couple hours from home, is fun.¨ While at AHS Ferrelll has been involved in volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, NHS, Quill and Scroll, and speech and debate. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking walks at the quarry, and working out. Ferrell currently works as a CNA at the Heritage House and loves her job. Ferrall’s future plans are to attend DMACC to pursue a career in nursing.
