Dreyah Rutherford
Sophomore Dreyah Rutherford aspires to live up to the legacy that her brother, Noah Rutherford, left behind at Atlantic High School. Rutherford has been involved in drama, choir, and journalism so far during her high school years. She joined journalism with the inspiration from her older brother and his best friend. She said they were “known for what they do,” and she wants to continue on their legacy. Rutherford also has a love for writing and considers it an option for her future. She hopes to add humor to the journalism team as her brother did.

Outside of school, Rutherford enjoys writing, painting, and listening to music. She is employed at the movie theatre. Her biggest inspiration would be her brother. “His personality is so attractive,” Rutherford said. She would like to be just as--or more--successful than her brother was in high school.
