Dreyah Rutherford, Yearbook Editor

Dreyah Rutherford is a junior at AHS and has been a part of the journalism department for two years. She currently is a yearbook editor. One of her main hobbies is painting. “It’s like a therapeutic thing for me,” Rutherford said. She enjoys writing poetry, spending time with her family, going on adventures outside, and listening to music.  Throughout her high school years, Rutherford has also been involved in choir and drama.

One thing you might not know about Rutherford is that she is really quiet and “doesn’t want to stand out.” Though she might not want to stand out, one thing she would like to do in high school is live up to her brother’s reputation because “he left a good memory of himself in high school. I just want to make myself memorable as well,” she said. Her brother, Noah Rutherford, was also involved in journalism.
