Maycie Waters, Broadcasting Editor
Maycie Waters, junior at Atlantic High School, has four siblings, three sisters and one brother. Waters’ oldest sister McKenzie is the reason she decided to go into Journalism. Water is in all sorts of other activities other than Journalism. She’s in basketball, volleyball, AHS Fuel, NHS, spanish club, MVP Mentoring and soccer. She said her favorite sport is soccer “because (she) can tackle people.” She is in the broadcasting class and creates ads every week with Maddie Botos for the Eye of the Needle. Waters loves everything about journalism and is thankful to her sister for pointing out the group for her. She loves the fact that journalism is a student-driven and enjoys making the video ads with Botos. Although she is unsure of what college she wants to attend, she knows that she wants to become a nurse anesthetist. She loves to help people and has been preparing for the future by taking certain classes. Waters is a very driven girl that has a very bright future and plans according to this fact.
