Matalynn Harter, Yearbook
Matalynn Harter is an AHS junior yearbook editor and she's been in journalism for two years. Harter's favorite memory in Journalism so far is shooting the Nishna Valley Dental Add. Harter is most proud of the Senior Stories she wrote last year because she pushed herself and did more than what was needed. Harter is also involved in dance which takes up a lot of her time. She is a competitive dancer, attends dance competitions, and tries to get involved with as much as she can during her free time. “I like to dance because I like to entertain people and push myself above and beyond,” Harter said. Harters hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, dancing, shopping, baking with her aunt, and attending sporting events. Her future plans are to attend DMACC to take classes to become a radiologist while working at Mercy Hospital for two years in college. She said, "I want to be a radiologist because I've always wanted to work in healthcare and this is the field I found most interesting." Harter works at Udderly Delicious but plans on finding a different job when Udderly closes for the season. In her free time, Harter watches shows, does school work, and is a student assistant for little kids at Villa Dance Company. Harter would like to visit Bora Bora in the future.
