During recent years on Valentine’s Day, all AHS staff members are challenged to find their “match” of a Valentine. This year, the morning of Friday before Valentine’s Day, the staff members were given one half of a paper heart, and they had to find their other half with a paper heart to connect with their fellow team members. Teacher Mandi Brauer said, “It’s a staff building activity that involves the communication of co-workers and a fun, sweet treat. The staff members look forward to the Valentine’s Day activity.” Spreading kindness through the messages written on the hearts. After they connect the hearts, they will receive a cookie to spread the joy and love of the sweet holiday.
