Ellie Butler, Yearbook Editor
“You learn a lot of new things and it helps you become more independent,” Is what journalist and podcaster Ellie Butler said about her role in the Needle. Butler, a junior at Atlantic High School, works with Jersey Green on the podcasts for AHS’s “The Eye of the Needle.” She hopes to take over the school journalism podcasts someday in her future at the school. Butler said that the best part of journalism is “just working with everyone.” Butler also plays tennis in Atlantic as well, she does it “For fun,” and because “A lot of my friends do it.” Butler is also involved with AHS Fuel as well. When Butler isn’t doing activities for the school, she likes to read and bake. Her interest in baking started when she was taught by and baked with her grandmother when she was younger. Since then, she has begun baking herself at home!
