About the Contributors
Jersey Green, Broadcasting Editor
Jersey Green (17) is a co-lead editor of the broadcasting department and is a senior at Atlantic High School. She got into journalism because she thought it seemed like a fun class and because it seemed “very free.” The best part of journalism is “the community we built, and everyone is very close.” She loves seeing Berryhill in the hallway with her accordion and other journalists as well.
Outside of journalism, Green enjoys dance, archery, baking, reading, and she works at an animal clinic. Her favorite of her hobbies is dance. She does pom, clogging, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, and hip-hop. Green has one older brother. Her favorite memories throughout her 4 years were getting her boyfriend and making memories with her friends.

Ellie Butler, Podcast Lead Editor
Ellie Butler is 17 years old and is a senior at Atlantic High School. This year, she is the lead editor of podcasting for journalism. She originally got into journalism because she knew people who did it, and it was something she was interested in. The best part of journalism is the “environment” because everyone is nice and understanding. She also “loves that it’s a student-driven program.” Butler’s favorite memory from journalism is Media Now over the summer.
She enjoys reading, tennis, and baking. Throughout her four years in high school, she has been involved in tennis, cheerleading, choir, journalism, Quill and Scroll, AHS Fuel, and Student Council. Her family is very nice and supportive, and she has one older brother. She likes being the youngest, but her brother is much older. She feels like an only child since her brother was out of the house when she was born. She loves being with family and her friends. She plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and wants to major in either education or psychology.
