About the Contributor
Bennett Whetstone, Broadcasting Editor
“I joined as soon as I could,” said Bennett Whetstone. Whetstone has been in journalism since his sophomore year here at AHS. Whetstone also participates in cross country and track.  Whetstone has been in broadcasting and the yearbook. He likes broadcasting because he is able to record and edit videos. It gives him something to work on every week while he is editing the Eye of the Needle.  Whetstone believes that journalism allows students to be more involved within AHS. This school year Whetstone wants to see the broadcasting program to do better than last year. Journalism has made it so he can do more than just learn at school; it has opened up a whole new side of the school.  Whetstone also runs track and cross country. He enjoys running and spending time outside. Outside of school, he worked at Orscheln this winter. In his free time, he plays the guitar. He has been playing the guitar for five years.  “ I may seem quiet but when you know me I’m not,” said Whetstone He is a caring and trusting person. Written by Aubrey Welsh and Nissa Molgaard
