Winter Break Recap: Atlantic-CAM Wrestling

While first semester came to an end on Friday, Dec. 20, the wrestling team kept at it, attending two meets over the winter break.

At the Red Owens Holiday Classic, the Trojan wrestlers finished in third place. The meet was held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at Southeast Polk. Senior Aybren Moore secured a first place win in the 113-pound class. Sophomore Ethan Follman also won his division, the 120-pound class. Senior Cale Roller was runner up at 285. 

The team had a break from practice for the holiday but resumed on Friday, Dec. 27 to prepare for their next meet. 

The Trojans traveled to Eddyvile-Blakesburg on Saturday, Jan. 4 and claimed the Lettington Family Duals Tournament title. Eddyville, Des Moines East, and Comanche attended the meet. With the dual victories, the team stayed unbeaten on the 2019-20 campaign.
