Got Play-Doh? Atlantic High School is sending a donation to Blank Children’s hospital in honor of 4-year-old Avril Shahan of Greene County, who was diagnosed with leukemia in 2017. Senior Katie Saluk said, “Ms. Elm saw a video on KETV about Greene County donating Play-Doh and we wanted to support them in doing the same.”
Play-Doh can only be used once in hospitals due to bacteria build up.
Students could bring Play-Doh and canned food to win spirit points for their grade. The bins were in the front of the school near the entrance.
