With only eight healthy swimmers competing at Abraham Lincoln on Sept. 11, the Trojans still managed to win 10 of the 11 events against the Lynx with a whopping score of 95-50.  Three girls were out due to sickness but the Trojans powered through, winning all three relays and seven of the eight individual events.

Anna Lowary led the team with four wins. Two were a team effort as they were relays and two were individual events. Claire Christensen and Cambry Miller were close behind with three wins each. Altogether, the girls received 95 points while Abraham Lincoln scored 50.

Later that same week, the team competed at Marshalltown. After Marshalltown, they had a dual against Lewis Central and a few days later they had a meet in Valley. Yesterday, they had a triangular against Carroll and Spencer.

Their first home meet is Thursday, Sept. 27 at the Nishina Valley Family YMCA.
