Taylor Hansen, Yearbook Editor

Atlantic High School junior Taylor Hansen is a yearbook editor on the Journalism team. “I really enjoy the people and the environment. I also love the freedom we have as journalists,” Hansen said.  The story she’s most proud of during her time as a journalist is the one she and Hannah Alff wrote about Emma Bireline.

Hansen is also involved in volleyball, basketball and track. When she’s not in school, Hansen likes to go to the creek down the road from her house because it’s a calming place to go to. Her idea of a  relaxing afternoon is watching Netflix on the couch on a rainy day.

Hansen describes herself as an outgoing and goofy person and says that her personality is something she would never change about herself. “I love my peppy silly self.” She also said that her friends would describe her as a character, and a very nice, fun loving, silly person.

Hansen said that the person that knows her the best is her dad who she looks up to. “I look up to my dad because he’s a mirror image of me. I’ve learned a lot of things from him and he’s always been there for me.” In fact, a cross necklace her dad got her when she was confirmed is the one thing she owns that she would never give away.

A fact that not many know about Hansen is that this silly, peppy sweetheart was born on Valentine’s Day.
