Helena Buliche

"Confident, smart, assertive, and independent" are just four of the words that peers gave to describe sophomore Helena Buliche. Buliche is part of the AHS journalism program and hopes to contribute to the broadcasting and yearbook portion of this program.  During her first semester, Buliche was proud of a story she had written based on students’ peer pressure. “I got a lot of information about students that really made the story interesting,”  she said.

When Buliche is not at school, she can be found working at Fischer Photography, spending time with family, or taking part in her hobbies; practicing hula dancing “from time to time” and “testing new recipes to cook.” Buliche’s biggest influence has been her cousins. Buliche said, “Without them, I’ve probably would’ve never been able to become who I am today.” Something that Buliche likes about herself is “how I know what I need in my life and how I have an interest in everything” which can better help her in her journalism skills.

Buliche is most looking forward to creating fun videos that would entertain our audience and help put together pages for the yearbook while being in journalism.  Buliche hopes to “ become more close with the school community and be comfortable to interview any students assigned to me.” she said, during her high school career.
