Aubrey Welsh, a senior, is in Senior Magazine for journalism. She joined Intro to Journalism in her sophomore year and worked on the yearbook as a junior. Welsh's favorite part of journalism is the teacher, Allison Berryhill, and her "upbeat attitude." Welsh is involved in Villa Dance, color guard, and band outside of journalism. She's also been doing school musicals and plays since her freshman year. For college classes, Welsh takes Intro to Business and Intro to Psychology. This year, she plans on participating in tennis, which she started playing freshman year. Welsh is the third of four children, and in her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, practicing for color guard, and art. In fact, she joined an art class this year to try it out and see how she likes it. "I recently have been trying a lot of new things just for the fun of it," Welsh said. Outside of school, she also enjoys spending time with her two cats and her dog. Welsh can be described as "energetic" by her friends and those close to her, but what people don't know is that she is actually a quiet and conserved person around strangers.
