Trojans Break a Streak of Losses

The Trojans add another win to their record, making it 4-7.

TROJANS ON THREE – Members of the varsity soccer team come together before the start of the home game against the Harlan Cyclones. The Trojans fell to the Cyclones 4-0.

After a long streak of losses, the Trojan boys’ soccer team came out on top over the St. Albert Falcons on Saturday, May 4. The game was held at home on the upper practice field due to a YMCA track meet. Senior Alvin Nantz had 10 saves throughout the game, only allowing one goal to pass through. Juniors Jackson Mullin and Zachary McKay were also credited with one save each.

Eight of the 12 shots taken by the Trojans were on goal. Ben Andersen, Nathan Brockman, Evan Brummer, Beau Dickerson, Majerus Dulberg and Jackson Mullin each contributed to the total shots with at least one. Brockman had the most shots with four, three of which were on goal. There were also two corner kicks.

The Trojans play next on Monday, May 6 against the Treynor Cardinals.
